Nancy Hendershot

Nancy Hendershot is the Corporate Officer and Senior Sales Associate at Hendershot Financial Group. While she spent a significant amount of time working directly with clients, she now functions more behind the scenes, primarily focusing on corporate responsibilities. She monitors ongoing projects within the firm, meets with Executive Staff, and helps clients as needed. With 31 years of experience in the financial services industry, Nancy is an asset at the family firm.

 Nancy’s previous experience includes the National Institutes of Health, NIH, in Bethesda, Maryland where she was a Budget Analyst for the Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. She attended college at the University of Maryland and pursued courses in Public Administration at American University and the University of D.C. on campus at NIH.

 Being passionate about serving others, helping people, and her family unit as a whole, Nancy decided to join her family at Hendershot Financial Group, where she has many opportunities for creative freedom and expression in the industry. She has her Life and Health Licenses and FINRA Series 6, 63, and 65.

 Nancy comes from Huntington, West Virginia. At the age of five, her family moved to Bethesda, Maryland. In High School, Nancy had the opportunity to lead the Walter Johnson pom pom squad, which brought out her creativity and confidence. She presently lives in Olney, Maryland, with her husband, Tom where she enjoys gardening, listening to music, and expressing her creativity in any way she finds enjoyable for herself at the time. Nancy adores her family and feels blessed to serve with them in the financial services industry.
